Employment Type: Permanent A career as a senior stock loans analyst within the Capital Markets Operations team at Banque Nationale means acting as a specialist in securities income and market event processing. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of operational practices supporting Capital Markets while ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of activities related to securities distribution.

Your expertise in securities operations, analysis, reconciliation, and process improvement will allow you to have a positive impact on the organization and support the continuous transformation of the Bank.

Your Role

  • Analyze securities distributions considering deadlines, client and product characteristics, tax withholdings, currency conversions, and operational exceptions.
  • Monitor reconciliation activities, investigate discrepancies, recover outstanding amounts, and ensure compliance with established policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Produce operational reports, statistics, and metrics while maintaining data accuracy, quality, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with Bank-wide partners to provide technical expertise and support the effective execution of processing activities.
  • Recommend improvements to systems, controls, and operational processes by providing analyses and information that support decision-making.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new systems, tools, and work methods that improve operational efficiency and support business objectives.

Within the Capital Markets Operations team, you are part of a dynamic team of approximately 12 colleagues and report to the Director, Dividends, Capital Markets.

We work closely with various partners to manage risks, improve processes, and ensure the success of the execution of essential operational functions.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess at least 4 years of experience in securities operations, capital markets operations, or a related field.
  • Have experience in event processing, distributions, or activities related to securities income.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in performing reconciliations, investigations, and exception management.
  • Experience in producing operational reports and working with data to support decision-making.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of operational controls, risk management practices, and regulatory or procedural compliance within financial services.
