Laboratory Technician

At the heart of quality control activities, the person holding this position contributes directly to the reliability and compliance of products, from the receipt of raw materials to finished products. • Perform microbiological and physico-chemical analyses as part of quality control;
• Interpret results, document analyses, complete required reports, and ensure quality data entry;
• Perform routine and periodic follow-ups in the laboratory;
• Ensure calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment;
• Participate in process improvement activities;
• Perform any other tasks related to quality control.
• Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Hold a college diploma in food transformation technology from ITA or equivalent training;
• Have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in laboratory techniques in a food context, or another field (asset);
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, autonomous, and rigorous skills, and show initiative;
• Foster teamwork;
• Computer skills.
