Within a dynamic and collaborative team, the Communication Advisor plays a key role in designing, coordinating, and distributing strategic communications aimed at our clients, partners, and internal teams. You will contribute to high-impact projects that support the organization's growth, customer experience, and operational excellence.

The Payroll Product Specialist acts as a functional expert for CGI's payroll solutions. They support sales, project, and support teams to ensure successful implementation, optimal use of the solution, and regulatory compliance for pan-Canadian clients.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional expert for CGI's payroll and human capital management solutions (Payroll, time management, and HR).
- Support the sales team: product demonstrations, client needs assessment, responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Advise clients on payroll processes and local regulatory obligations.
- Contribute to professional services missions requiring in-depth expertise in payroll, time management, and HR.
- Collaborate with the expertise center on complex payroll or product parameterization issues.
- Conduct training sessions and produce user support materials.
- Gather client feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of the product and services.
- Organize promotional events for the CGI brand.
Qualities Required to Succeed in This Role
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the payroll domain, in consulting or support for payroll and HR solutions.
- Practical knowledge of the solutions and various Canadian payroll/HR systems.
- Ability to simplify complex subjects for business and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and communicate business needs.
Key Skills
- Experience in pre-sales, consulting, or business analysis.
- Knowledge of HRIS / data flow integrations.
- Certification from the National Payroll Institute or equivalent professional qualification.
- Customer orientation and service mindset.
- Rigor and attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Bilingualism in French and English, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to simplify complex subjects for business and non-technical stakeholders.
CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. This range is determined based on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, and education, as well as licenses and certifications. Reward decisions are based on the facts and circumstances of each individual case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $60,000 - $115,000.
