In this context, we are looking for an electromechanical designer to strengthen our internal expertise and play a key role with our project teams and industrial clients.
Your role at Merkur
As an electromechanical designer, you will intervene transversally on multidisciplinary turnkey projects.
Your added value: structure, secure, and elevate decisions ... from pre-project to commissioning.
You are both:
- a technical support point for internal teams;
- and an on-site actor capable of linking design, integration, and installation reality.
Your responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements, quotes, specifications, and pre-project documents;
- Identify, document, and manage clarifications and technical limits;
- Define, justify, and validate electromechanical component choices (performance, costs, installation, safety);
- Participate in the assembly and integration of electrical systems;
- Perform wiring and electrical connections of equipment;
- Ensure the coherent integration of electromechanical requirements in detailed design;
- Review electrical schematics, component lists, utilities, and interfaces;
- Support designers in the overall integration of equipment (layouts, mechanical and electrical interfaces);
- Play a technical interface role between clients and suppliers;
- Support sales, project management, and engineering teams in daily technical decisions;
- Provide technical support during installation and in-service.
Desired profile
- 5 to 10 years of experience as an electrical or mechanical technician;
- Solid experience in electromechanical, instrumentation, hydraulics, and pneumatics;
- On-site experience in workshops and/or industrial sites;
- Ability to operate in a multi-project and high-pressure environment;
- Autonomy, rigor, and adaptability;
- Availability for occasional travel;
- Proficiency in French and English; bilingualism is required for exchanges with international clients and suppliers.
Education and tools
- DEC technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering;
- Good proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent design software.
