Purchasing Manager

Your main responsibilities

• Analyze and process purchase requests issued by various services
• Manage and track industrial purchase orders
• Manage inventory levels
• Initiate and follow up on tender calls and analyze supplier proposals
• Negotiate industrial purchases at optimal price, delivery, and quality conditions
• Manage (search, select, qualify new suppliers) and update the supplier file
• Develop standards and procedures for warehouse tasks, considering health-safety, environmental, legal, and other aspects
• Assist in defining critical spare parts lists, quantities, and reusable parts
• Work daily with all departments of the plant in a continuous improvement spirit
• Supervise, mentor, lead, and develop employees under your supervision (warehouse worker)

Your skills

• Hold relevant training and possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement
• Master Office suite software and have experience with preventive maintenance software
• Be recognized for your leadership, team spirit, and ability to manage a team, your analytical skills, your rigor, and your ability to communicate and solve problems in a team, combined with a results-oriented approach
• Have experience in health & safety management and integration across all activities
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both official languages
