Who We Are

MainMicro is a growing IT reseller serving corporate clients, OEMs, and SLED through the American and Canadian markets. Backed by strategic partnerships with the industry's top manufacturers — Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, and others — we offer IT leaders expert advice and scalable solutions.

We are more than just a reseller. We are a trusted partner that gives our clients the strategic advantage needed to drive real business growth, and we hold ourselves to the same standards internally: honest discussions, bold thinking, and successes built collectively.

This Role

We are looking for a sharp and determined Talent Acquisition Specialist to find, hire, and recruit the people who will drive MainMicro's growth. This is the person at the forefront of our growth — the one who spots talent before the competition, moves quickly without cutting corners, and makes every candidate feel the confidence and attention that define us.

You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle for sales, operations, and support roles, working closely with hiring managers and HR to build talent pools that not only fill positions — they raise the bar. If you love the hunt, know how to close, and are proud to build a winning team, your place is at this table.

Key Qualifications for This Role

  • A history of full-cycle recruiting that consistently delivers quality hires, not just fast ones.
  • A natural hunter — someone who scouts passive talent and builds relationships before a position is even open.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment; you build the talent pool while filling the position.
  • Strong interpersonal instincts and the credibility to advise hiring managers, not just execute their requests.
  • A genuine curiosity about the IT sector and what sets top talent in sales and tech apart.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process — sourcing, pre-screening, interviews, and offer conclusion — for sales, operations, and corporate roles.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, establish hiring criteria, and build a recruitment strategy for each search.
  • Deliver a candidate experience that reflects MainMicro's standards: clear, direct, and respectful at every stage.

Talent Sourcing and Pool Development

  • Proactively source active and passive candidates via LinkedIn, referrals, niche IT/tech networks, and creative channels.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pool ready to be activated for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Track and report on talent pool health, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness, using data to refine the strategy.

Employer Branding and Candidate Experience

  • Authentically represent MainMicro's culture and brand.
  • Gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers to continuously improve the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with HR on employer branding initiatives, job postings, and awareness campaigns.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Collaborate with sales mobilization and HR teams to align hiring with onboarding and long-term development plans.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and job data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Provide hiring managers and leadership with regular updates on talent pools and hiring metrics.

Experience and Profile Required

  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, or corporate sourcing.
  • Demonstrated ability to source and close with passive candidates, not just process incoming applications.
  • Proficient with an ATS and other recruitment/sourcing technologies; experience with AI-assisted sourcing tools is a plus.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence hiring managers.
  • Good understanding of recruitment metrics and what influences them (time-to-fill, hire quality, talent pool conversion rate).

Additional Assets

  • Experience recruiting for technical sales roles in the IT, hardware, software, or cloud solutions sectors.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Bilingual (French/English) — a significant asset given our Quebec-based team and our cross-border clientele.

What You Get

  • REER — 5% CONTRIBUTION: We match your REER contributions up to 5% of your base salary. Invest in your future, and we'll invest alongside you.
  • HEALTH AND WELLNESS: Comprehensive health and dental coverage for you and your family. Annual reimbursement for gym membership — approved fitness classes, subscriptions, or wellness expenses.
  • TIME OFF: 20 paid days off, plus all statutory American and Canadian holidays — both markets are observed.
  • GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT: Annual training and development budget for courses, certifications, or training of your choice — no imposed catalog. Career mentorship and development integrated from day one. One paid day of volunteering per year.
  • Our Core Values
  • Real and Authentic, Straight Talk

We keep our promises, own our mistakes, and learn from them. Honesty and transparency are non-negotiable. We stay true to ourselves and always do what's right.

Beyond Ordinary, Beyond Limits

Innovation is in our DNA, and we challenge the status quo with unconventional thinking. We push our limits, set bold goals, and continuously strive for better results.

Respect First, Success Together

We treat others as we wish to be treated, with mutual respect at the heart of everything. We value our colleagues and unite our strengths to win as a team.

*This position is eligible for remote work and open to candidates anywhere in Canada. The base salary is determined based on the candidate's regional labor cost and will be confirmed at the time of offer.
