The Associate, Market Access oversees all market access activities related to core products (developing the pricing and registration strategy for core products). They provide recommendations regarding the pricing and registration strategy based on the product profile and market dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and communicate price changes (internal and external) (price entry in SAP and validation).
- Monitor monthly GSUR competition (risks and opportunities) and inform the team.
- Prepare annual price increases and progressive price increase opportunities ('ladder price increases').
- Assist with submissions to public and private payers for new product launches and new reimbursement categories for core products (in collaboration with regulatory, bio-informatics, marketing, and supply teams).
- Prepare and update market access analyses for business development and marketing (one-pager format).
- Prepare and update the department's standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure they comply with current provincial regulations.
- Respond to external and internal requests (availability, representative questions).
- Ad hoc projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bilingual (oral and written): The candidate must be able to collaborate with regulatory authorities located outside the province of Quebec.
- Excellent understanding of provincial laws and regulations as well as submission requirements for generic products.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey messages and pricing/submission strategies.
- Business acumen and presentation skills.
- Computer skills: Excellent proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience
1 year of experience in market access, regulation, scientific affairs, or marketing.
