• Answer phone calls and transfer calls and messages
• Clean and maintain the office, merchandise areas or warehouse
• Install display stands for parts and accessories
• Provide advice on parts and supplies
• Handle cash transactions
• Identify, label and catalogue received items
• Route and distribute parts and supplies for internal use
• Keep records up to date using an inventory control system
• Prepare orders to replenish parts and supplies stock
• Process received requests
• Receive, unpack and sort received parts, supplies and materials
• Sell spare parts and replacements
• Store items in a warehouse, tool room or supply room
• Receive payments
• Answer customer and public information requests
• Order materials and products
• Invoice customers
• Perform research
