As a Business Development Advisor within the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau, you will actively contribute to the growth of our activities by identifying, analyzing, and developing strategic opportunities. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you will have the opportunity to develop your market understanding, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and build lasting relationships with key industry players.

What you will do

• Conduct strategic market intelligence (tender calls, public and private projects, industry trends)
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities
• Contribute to the development of pursuit strategies (go/no-go)
• Support the preparation of presentations, qualification files, and proposals
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (estimation, operations, project management)
• Participate in industry events and networking activities
• Keep opportunity tracking tools up-to-date (CRM)
• This role is for you if you have
• A bachelor's degree in administration, civil engineering, project management, or a related field
• Good knowledge of the civil engineering sector and its markets
• A strong interest in business development in the construction industry
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
• Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information
• Autonomy, diligence, and initiative
• Customer-oriented profile: active listening, curiosity, and interest in building lasting relationships
