Hourly Wage: $24.41/hour, which may include a bonus when applicable

Sunday to

Thursday from 3:45 PM to 12:00 AM

• NATURE OF WORK

The primary and usual role of this job class involves performing cleaning, physical, and preventive maintenance work on grounds, buildings, and equipment, as well as minor repair work. It also includes handling and transporting goods, furniture, and other materials. The person ensures the cleanliness of the premises and the good condition of the equipment. More specifically, the person must:

• Perform tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the premises and the good condition of the equipment;
• Sweep, vacuum, wash, clean, and wax, as applicable, carpets, walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, and ventilation grilles in various rooms, including restrooms and sports equipment storage rooms;
• Assist, when necessary, the qualified worker by handling heavy objects and materials. In the course of their duties, the porter may be called upon to move furniture, handle, transport, and store goods and materials, and operate required equipment such as a floor polisher and an autolaveuse;
• Regarding physical and preventive maintenance, perform wintertime spreading work to ensure the safety of outdoor circulation areas;
• Perform, if necessary, cleaning, physical, and preventive maintenance work on residences and their equipment;
• Perform, if necessary, any other tasks outlined in the classification plan or any other tasks related to the function.
