Package Handler (Warehouse like)

Job Duties

To load and unload freight, digitize and sort freight within the facility.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High school diploma or GED preferred

FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations - (Desired)

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to successfully complete all basic and periodic training

Must be able to lift 70 lb and maneuver all packages up to 150 lb with appropriate equipment DISCLAIMER

If the incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, you must be bilingual (French and English). In addition to the usual factors used in the selection process, all candidates for positions that require driving as a basic skill must hold a valid driver's license (e.g. class 5, G, or 1 AZ) and a driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents occurring within the 24 months preceding the date of application. Additionally, candidates will be evaluated by closely examining: 1) their current driving record; 2) their performance during the interview process; and 3) their performance in any driving skills assessment administered.

Additional Information: Pay rate: $20.37/hour
