A therapeutic massage clinic established in Griffintown, specializing in clinical care: manual lymphatic drainage, post-surgical massage, and musculoskeletal massage therapy. We are seeking a certified massage therapist skilled in lymphatic drainage and post-operative care for a stable salaried position with a client base provided by the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide manual lymphatic drainage and post-surgical massage to a client base recovering from surgery
• Apply complementary techniques to post-operative recovery: maderotherapy and body sculpting
• Assess soft tissues and joints to treat and prevent dysfunctions, injuries, and pain
• Provide all massage therapy services offered by the clinic: deep tissue, therapeutic massage, prenatal massage, and relaxation massage
• Develop treatment plans tailored to each phase of recovery and collaborate with other clinic professionals
• Maintain up-to-date client files and issue insurance receipts
• Advise clients on care and exercises to complement their recovery
• Mandatory Requirements:
• Recognized massage therapy diploma (minimum 400 hours; 1000 hours, an asset)
• Completed training in manual lymphatic drainage
• Training or demonstrated experience in post-surgical massage/post-operative care
• Member in good standing of a recognized professional association allowing the issuance of insurance receipts
• Functional French
• Availability for a salaried in-person position
• Assets:
• Training or experience in maderotherapy and body sculpting
• Experience in prenatal massage
• Proficiency in deep tissue and therapeutic and relaxation approaches
