Data Analyst - Global Markets and Equities

We are currently recruiting a data analyst to join our data acquisition team, working closely with our trading strategy group. Candidates must have a passion for data and its dissemination, and the ability to think both independently and collaboratively. They will participate in the development of data collection strategies by gathering and processing data from various sources.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes highly demanding environment. They must possess a keen sense of enthusiasm and detail, as well as a sense of commitment and dedication to both teams. New graduates are welcome!

• Basic knowledge of global macroeconomics
• are interested in learning more about global markets and equities, as well as how information is disseminated

• are capable of communicating effectively (both orally and in writing)
• are ready to learn and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment
• have a bachelor's degree in a related field - economics, finance, commerce, information technology, or computer science
• have knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters Eikon terminals (considered a bonus)
• have basic knowledge of automation using Python (considered a bonus)
• Proficiency in the Japanese language is a valuable asset

What you will work on

• Prepare and deploy data collection strategy configurations for use by analysts and market strategists.
• Collaborate with research and trading teams for pre- and post-transaction analyses to prepare detailed reports and investigations.
• Use proprietary tools and systems and troubleshoot in real-time.
• Collaborate with different teams to design and maintain cutting-edge operational platforms.
• Design proprietary automation and process monitoring tools and leverage third-party technologies, as applicable.
