Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, the Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting and distributing towels on the floors. They must be able to handle inventories and follow procedures according to the hotel's standards, while respecting the company's internal philosophy and policies.

Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities

• Supply all floors with linens
• Transfer and supply linens between floors and laundry
• Wash soiled towels
• Communicate and coordinate with the Housekeeping Department
• Efficiently respond to requests from supervisors and department directors
• Conduct monthly bedding inventory
• Other related tasks

Skills

• Follow and apply all hotel chain safety policies and procedures; report issues; complete required safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
• Ensure uniform and appearance are clean and professional.
• Respect the confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company property.
• Team spirit
• Meet quality assurance expectations and standards
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines (e.g., to identify defects).
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 55 pounds (25 kg) without assistance, and over 55 pounds (25 kg) with assistance.
• Able to push and pull a housekeeping cart loaded with other work equipment on uneven and sloping surfaces.
