As a Senior Software Developer within the *Core Systems* team, you will bring your technical leadership and creativity to design, develop, and ensure the resilience of order, inventory, and catalog systems. You will play a key role in solving complex problems aligned with our business context, while actively participating in evolving our event-driven architectures and adopting best practices. What you will do
- Participate in the architectural design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery of large-scale applications and services.
- Propose creative technical and functional solutions that directly address the Core Systems team's business goals.
- Ensure system resilience by automating testing and integrating infrastructure as code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experiment with and adopt new technical approaches to continuously evolve team practices.
- Play a key role in code reviews, technical documentation, and sprint planning.
- Create and modify SQL and NoSQL data sources based on application requirements.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure high availability and platform performance.
Who you are
- 6+ years of experience in software development with modern languages (Python, NodeJS) and 2+ years designing large-scale distributed applications in ecommerce.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in event-driven architectures, SQL/NoSQL databases, AWS cloud services, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (knowledge of SQS, Temporal, or React/Next.js is an asset).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Strong interest in AI-assisted development while maintaining a high standard for software quality.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and creative problem-solving in a business context within an agile environment.
- Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.
