YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENTEstablished and led in Canada, Agnico Eagle is the largest mining company in Canada and the second-largest gold producer in the world. The Support and Development Centre (SDC) provides support to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and/or international mining operations in several areas, such as administration, finance, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction, and technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation).

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGES:

Reporting to the Corporate Director, Applications and Development Services, you will be part of Agnico Eagle's IT team's Corporate Applications and Development Services (CADS) department. You will ensure the achievement of objectives while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, the health and safety code of conduct, and its commitments to the environment.

Specifically, you will need to

  • Act as the primary contact, both strategically and operationally, between business leaders and the CADS team, translating priorities, issues, and business opportunities into technological roadmaps and concrete initiatives;
  • Lead the partnership model for delivering business solutions within the corporate application portfolios under your responsibility, including managing requests, establishing priorities, preparing business cases, aligning roadmaps, planning capacity, aligning financing, and overseeing delivery;
  • Establish trust-based relationships with corporate, functional, operational, site, and IT stakeholders, providing a clear point of entry to the CADS team and identifying opportunities for value creation, simplification, normalization, and risk reduction;
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams throughout the lifecycle of initiatives, from identifying opportunities, analyzing needs, defining scope and prioritization, to implementation, deployment, transition to operations, and realizing benefits;
  • Strengthen portfolio governance by improving visibility into requests, projects, operations, interdependencies, risks, resource constraints, budgetary considerations, and executive decision points;
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with business processes, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, compliance, procurement, long-term support capacity, application lifecycle management, and operational sustainability;
  • Coordinate or support workshops, stakeholder discussions, strategic planning sessions, and alignment forums to clarify business needs, assess impacts, confirm priorities, and support the design and adoption of solutions;
  • Support organizational change management by coordinating communication, preparation, training, and stakeholder mobilization activities in collaboration with project, support, and business teams;
  • Coordinate the involvement of suppliers, partners, finance, procurement, and internal teams relative to the portfolio, ensuring service quality, deliverable alignment, cost control, and effective collaboration among all parties;
  • Lead, guide, and harmonize the work of business solution delivery partners or other resources in connection with business activities, contributing to the establishment of clear responsibilities, consistent practices, evolving governance, and a strong service culture within the CADS team's business partnership model.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR YOUR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, engineering, industrial engineering, or another relevant discipline; a master's degree is an asset;
  • Experience in business relationship management, business partnership leadership, portfolio governance, demand management, project delivery, or a similar role that bridges business priorities and IT initiative execution;
  • Excellent understanding of business process transformation, enterprise application implementation, operational model evolution, change management, transition to operations, and benefit realization in complex organizational environments;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders from different areas, including business, IT, finance, procurement, and external partners;
  • Experience in managing requests, establishing priorities, planning roadmaps, managing resource capacity, budgets, service performance, and delivery risks within a business-oriented IT portfolio or function;
  • Strong interest in technology-driven business transformation and ability to connect enterprise applications, data, digital capabilities, suppliers, and support models to measurable business outcomes;
  • Good proficiency in the Microsoft environment and ease of use of collaboration, presentation, and reporting tools;
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to adapt messages to senior executives, operational managers, and technical teams;
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, good judgment, and ability to balance business needs, delivery capacity, corporate standards, support requirements, costs, and operational realities;
  • Proactive, continuous improvement-oriented approach, with the ability to question fragmented practices, reduce unnecessary communications, increase transparency, and foster alignment and trust among stakeholders;
  • Availability to travel occasionally;
  • Proficiency in both French and English, as the position involves collaboration with Agnico Eagle sites where these are the primary languages; knowledge of Spanish is an asset.

Your work schedule

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Work location: Possibility to work in one of Agnico Eagle's offices closer to your residence, such as Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d'Or, Mirabel, or Toronto. There is a possibility of having a hybrid work schedule, i.e., working some days from an Agnico Eagle office and some days remotely.
