What is the job about?

You stand out for your ability to build relationships with potential and existing clients, providing them with advice and designing solutions to complex business challenges. You ensure expert and efficient relationship management and adopt a harmonized approach to sales objectives, product characteristics, risk policies, and market strategies to offer tailored solutions to clients' business needs. As a key member of the Customer Relationship team, you coordinate the efforts of multiple partners, fostering an exceptional customer experience. Your proven track record in solution development, innate business sense, and customer service skills will ensure your success.

What will your tasks be?

  • Apply your background in business expansion and lead generation to potential and existing clients.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience through high-quality financial and business advice within a collaborative relationship management model.
  • Collaborate with a group of expert advisors to develop and execute a customer contact strategy tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Review clients' financial statements to identify trends, manage risks, and determine credit restructuring needs.
  • Identify opportunities for recommendations to RBC partners and make presentations.
  • Promote digital enablement by recommending the RBC Mobile App and Wallet, encouraging their use through client awareness and guidance on how to use them.
  • What is required to succeed?
  • Essential Skills

At least three to five years of experience in the corporate banking sector.

  • Customer orientation and excellent business expansion and relationship management skills.
  • Credit skills: financial analysis and risk assessment, credit solution development, and presentation of offers.
  • Experience with new communication technologies (online meetings, social networks, digital banking services, mobile apps).
  • Expertise in a specialized industry in a previous role (e.g., real estate, healthcare professionals, agriculture).
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required, as you will serve a Francophone and Anglophone clientele.

Desired Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal relationship, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in a specialized sector (real estate, healthcare, agriculture, etc.).
  • Sales acquisition skills (value proposition promotion, sales lead generation and recommendation, outreach to potential clients, solicitation calls, and referral requests).
  • University degree, ideally in business or business administration, or equivalent experience.
