Summary of Duties

• Under the authority of the head of the diagnostic, imaging, and IT sector:
• Maintain medical equipment.
• Perform maintenance on medical equipment (electronics, mechanics, electricity, and computers 'hardware and software') as well as their repair and preventive maintenance.
• Perform maintenance on the network components of medical equipment including repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure communication between the equipment and the various computer systems of the CIUSSS (PACS, diagnostic aid systems, electronic patient record, etc.).
• Order replacement parts for medical devices
• Keep a detailed record of interventions and repairs for various equipment.
• Keep an inventory of equipment
