Your responsibilities as Manager of Fruits and Vegetables

• Plan and coordinate the activities of your service to achieve the sales and profitability goals set by the director, while respecting the applicable collective agreement;
• Ensure that the store is ready to receive customers in terms of the quantity of merchandise, product labeling, the rotation of perishable goods, and the ordering of missing products;
• Organize the work of the team according to operational needs;
• Ensure that the team provides the best customer experience;
• Manage purchases, inventories, price lists, and market positioning;
• Apply policies and procedures, comply with government hygiene standards, and follow health and safety regulations at work, ensuring they are uniformly applied and respected by all employees in your department;
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Train, supervise, evaluate, and motivate team members;
• Manage loss prevention (wastage, theft, inventory losses, breakage);
• Adhere to departmental budgets;
• Other related tasks.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years in retail;
• 5 years in the food industry

Skills sought

• Experience in management;
