The Systems Financial Excellence Center leadership team of the Financial Services and Actuarial Services Vice Presidency is looking for an authentic, mobilizing leader with a strong sense of ownership to oversee the production, integrity, and business intelligence of financial systems. In a constantly evolving environment, you will contribute to the performance of strategic systems while supporting a talented team in their development and success.

What you will accomplish with us

As a Deputy Director, Production, Integrity, and Business Intelligence, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10 to 15 professionals dedicated to the operational support of financial systems.
  • Ensure the performance, mobilization, and development of talent, while ensuring their well-being.
  • Manage human resources (recruitment, performance appraisal, etc.).
  • Provide level 2 support of quality to internal partners and meet their expectations.
  • Manage critical incidents. Assess severity, prioritize actions, and coordinate stakeholders.
  • Drive, maintain, and optimize financial processes and systems to ensure reliable, scalable, and compliant services and tools.
  • Support the implementation of new financial modules, systems, or processes.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the efficiency of services and the health of systems.
  • Participate and evolve the governance of financial systems.
  • Actively participate in committees and meetings related to your responsibilities.
  • Promote the identification of inefficiencies and continuous improvement of work methods.

  • We are looking for a person who:
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in accounting, actuarial science, administration, SIO, finance, or another relevant field.
  • Has a minimum of 10 years of experience in a role close to financial systems, including 3 years of experience in management.
  • Is recognized for their mobilizing, authentic, and human leadership.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and fully assumes the results of their team and activities.
  • Shows curiosity, learns quickly, and adapts easily in a complex and constantly evolving environment.
  • Knows how to mobilize teams in a transformation context while maintaining a healthy, collaborative, and respectful work environment.
  • Is able to build trust quickly and establish strong partnerships at all levels of the organization.
  • Gives great importance to the development of people, listening, and supporting team members.
  • Has relevant experience in the insurance and financial products sector, an asset.
  • Has intermediate knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written, due to daily interactions with colleagues or partners from across Canada and the United States.
