Your daily contribution and impact:

As a member of the IT team, the selected candidate will perform tasks associated with the administration of the SAP system (Basis).

Be responsible for the daily activities and administration of the SAP environments;

Manage the SAP support distributor in areas such as the development of customer support processes (internal and external), technical planning, and coordination of work;

Assume responsibility for the maintenance of the SAP landscape and the calibration of standards related to service agreements in force;

Plan, recommend, and assist in the analysis of SAP, operating system Unix, and DB2 database performance indicators (KPIs);

Be responsible for the installation and configuration of SAP systems;

Ensure adequate provisioning in terms of security, operations, and peak performance in SAP environments, including planning and monitoring batch tasks;

Participate in establishing the necessary technical orientation to enable the IT team to achieve organizational goals;

Participate in the planning, maintenance, and testing of contingency plans, planning of the lifecycle of software and hardware assets that affect SAP;

Supervise all SAP support projects, including planning work, ensuring the availability of resources, materials, etc., and guaranteeing the quality of deliverables through our "suppliers";

Participate in the definition of objectives, strategies, plans, programs, performance standards/measures, and procedures as a member of the IT team;

Provide coaching and support to the SAP functional team and the SAP development team in areas such as conflict resolution, problem-solving, technical knowledge transfer, work processes, and optimization procedures, all aimed at achieving organizational goals.

Collaborate with the SAP security team to maintain our SAP security framework.

Ensure adequate security provisioning in SAP environments.

Essential expertise and skills:

More than 5 years of experience in managing SAP applications (e.g., SAP Basis, ERP, SCM, BI, XI/PI, Netweaver, etc.);

Degree in computer science, information systems, or any equivalent combination of studies, training, or experience; SAP Basis and security - practical installation and maintenance;

Great technical proficiency in managing Unix and DB2 databases;

Technical knowledge of the SAP HANA database, an asset.

Knowledge of enterprise-level applications;

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French;

Available to provide 24/7 technical support if needed;

Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;

Experience in the retail, wholesale, or automotive industry, an asset.
