As a member of the Strategy, Governance, and Competency Management team within the Engineering, Product Development, and Bombardier Defense organization, you will play a key role in achieving our mission: "Develop and execute a global strategy to ensure that the Engineering organization attracts, retains, and optimizes the best talent in the industry to achieve its goals."

What will your contributions be to the team?

• Support the development and execution of engineering strategies across all Bombardier sites.
• Plan and manage strategic engineering initiatives that enhance efficiency and the ability to meet current and future business needs.
• Lead the deployment of interfunctional budget management processes and tools to improve consistency and efficiency across engineering.
• Communicate priorities, influence stakeholders, foster collaboration, and support decision-making with engineering leaders, Defense, Finance, HR, and suppliers.
• Conduct comparative analyses, propose, and implement innovative organizational efficiency, process, and tool improvements, including AI-incorporated solutions.
• Mentor and coach the Strategy, Governance, and Competency Management engineering team to support their growth and strengthen organizational capabilities.
• Develop and deliver training and knowledge transfer to engineering teams, including Engineering Essentials and Engineering Fundamentals.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering professionals and technologists, ensuring quality execution and continuous improvement.

How will you thrive in this role?

• Experience at Bombardier and a strong practical knowledge of the BES, along with over 20 years of relevant experience in aerospace and engineering across various assignments and projects.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent abilities to manage multiple priorities, present, and communicate, as well as the capacity to influence without direct authority.
• Practical experience in leading a problem-solving process and Kaizen.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.
