Dishwasher – A versatile position within a senior residence

Vitæ Group is looking for a reliable, dynamic, and versatile person to fill a full-time dishwasher position in a senior residence located in the Saint-Sacrement sector, Quebec. Our residence accommodates elderly individuals living with physical or cognitive autonomy loss.

The food service plays an essential role in their daily lives: meals represent a moment of pleasure, comfort, and socialization. The position combines meal preparation and various tasks related to dishwashing and kitchen maintenance.

Working hours

• Day shifts
• Full-time
• One weekend every two weeks
• Some flexibility may be offered according to kitchen needs.

Salary

• From 17.69 $ to 24.97 $ per hour, depending on experience and skills.

Main responsibilities

• Participate in meal preparation and cooking as per the menu
• Prepare food, sides, and portions needed for service
• Collaborate on meal assembly and distribution
• Perform dishwashing and clean dishes, pots, and equipment
• Maintain work surfaces, storage areas, and the kitchen clean and safe
• Follow food hygiene, sanitation, and storage norms
• Ensure the quality, presentation, and temperature of served meals
• Consider the specific needs and expectations of our residents
• Collaborate with the head chef and other team members
• Quickly report any situation that may affect service quality or efficiency
• Contribute to continuous service improvement through observations and suggestions.

• Holding a MAPAQ certification or training in food hygiene and sanitation is an asset.
