As a Strategic Account Manager in Oncology, you will act as the point of contact for JAMP with an assigned group of oncology centers and oncology accounts across Canada. You will be a visible and trusted representative of a company truly committed to expanding access to better cancer care.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, Specialized Care - Oncology, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and executing strategic account plans for the Canadian territory assigned to you.

What you will do on a daily basis

  • *Sales and Account Management:*
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through rigorous account and territory planning, based on data analysis and market opportunities;
  • Develop tailored plans for Canadian oncology facilities, including university, regional, and community oncology centers;
  • Conduct continuous strategic monitoring of changes in therapeutic formulary, competitive activities, and provincial policy evolutions to adapt and optimize account management strategies;
  • Increase demand for JAMP's generic and biosimilar product portfolio by highlighting their clinical and economic benefits to healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities.
  • *Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Development:*
  • Act as the point of contact for assigned oncology accounts, developing trust-based relationships with oncologists, hematologists, urologists, pharmacists, medication access navigators, and other healthcare professionals;
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the Canadian oncology ecosystem, including oncology center governance, provincial therapeutic formulary registration processes, and drug access mechanisms (CADTH/CDA-AMC, INESSS, etc.), and leverage this expertise to facilitate product access and support prescription decisions;
  • Communicate clinical and scientific information in a clear, credible, and relevant manner to support informed prescription decision-making;
  • Facilitate access for patients and prescribers to JAMP Care, JAMP's comprehensive patient support program.
  • *Interfunctional Collaboration:*
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, market access, corporate accounts, etc.) to ensure alignment of priorities and provide a consistent customer experience;
  • Share market information, strategic account insights, and competitive observations in a structured and timely manner with internal stakeholders.
  • *Compliance and Governance:*
  • Manage territory budgets in compliance with Health Canada regulations and the Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC) Code of Ethics for New Medicines;
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely production of activity reports in accordance with company standards and requirements.

Profile required to succeed in this role

  • University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business administration, or a related field;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales in Canada;
  • Good knowledge of generic drugs, biosimilars, Health Canada approval processes, and patient support programs;
  • Valid Canadian driver's license and ability to make regular travel within the assigned territory;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all our partners located outside the province of Quebec.
  • It would be a real plus if you also possess some of the following assets:
  • Experience in oncology, hematology, or specialized pharmaceutical product sales;
  • Established network of contacts within Canadian oncology centers, university hospitals (CHU), or the specialized pharmacy field.
