Your role

As a driver within our laboratory, you will ensure the safe transport of biological materials and equipment between various facilities, primarily located in the Quebec and Montreal regions.

Through your diligence and professionalism, you will directly contribute to the smooth operation of the laboratory and the quality of services offered to clients.

Main responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to transport biological materials and equipment
• Load, unload, and handle biological materials and equipment safely
• Follow transport, handling, and safety procedures for biological materials and equipment
• Ensure the vehicle is in good condition and report any issues or maintenance needs
• Complete delivery logs and required documentation meticulously
• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service to various facilities served
• Desired profile

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Clean driving record provided by SAAQ
• High school diploma or relevant experience

• Reliability, flexibility, punctuality, and sense of responsibility
• Ability to work autonomously
• High vigilance and attention to detail
• Adaptability to a changing environment
• Safe driving in various road and weather conditions
• Ability to perform occasional light to heavy lifting

Assets

• Knowledge of regulations for transporting dangerous goods (TMD)
• Knowledge of SIMDUT
• Experience in an environment governed by quality standards (ISO)

Working conditions

• Salary of $22 to $28/hour, depending on experience
• Evening premium of $1/hour Monday to Friday
• Weekend premium of $2.25/hour
• $30/month cell phone allowance
