Under the supervision of the supervisor, the person holding this position performs various manual tasks related to housekeeping maintenance, handling, and event support at the building.
Description
- Perform various event setup/breakdown tasks;
- Transport furniture between spaces (meeting rooms, offices, conference rooms, performance halls, reception, or festivals);
- Snow removal (in addition to the snow removal contract; e.g., pelleting and spreading de-icers, snow removal of access to festivals and units on rooftops);
- Perform housekeeping maintenance (in addition to regular housekeeping) including indoor parking, performance halls, common areas, and the outdoor Esplanade;
- Perform handling and modification tasks of furniture;
- Install interior and exterior displays and signage;
- Handle urgent issues and coordinate interventions;
- Properly fill out preventive and corrective work orders that have been assigned and submit them to the supervisor within the specified deadlines;
- Fill out end-of-shift reports;
- Perform any other tasks related to the job;
- Evening and weekend work hours (up to 11 PM).
Requirements
- Authorized to work in Canada;
- Able to pass the required safety level and medical examination;
- Relevant work experience, no specific qualifications;
- Willing to work on evening and weekend rotating shifts up to 11 PM;
- In good physical condition;
- Demonstrates versatility and resourcefulness;
- Able to work standing, bent over, and/or kneeling as needed;
- Able to use 3, 6, or 12-foot ladders.
