At the request of our client in the IT Services Delivery - Finance sector, Procom is searching for a Senior Scrum Master for a mandate until March 31, 2027. This position is remote with occasional meetings in Quebec City or Montreal.

Senior Scrum Master - Job Description

This major transformation project involves a large team and requires a senior profile capable of challenging and animating large groups. The Senior Scrum Master will play a key role in facilitating Agile ceremonies and improving the performance of the teams.

Senior Scrum Master - Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure their effectiveness
• Foster autonomy and collaboration within the teams
• Promote best practices in Agile, Lean, and DevOps
• Support Product Owners in managing and refining the backlog
• Ensure visibility of the status of work and commitments
• Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, analysts, IT teams, and business partners

Senior Scrum Master - Required Skills

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in information technology or project delivery
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile coach, or delivery leader
• Excellent understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices
• Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalents
• Advanced bilingualism in French and English

Senior Scrum Master - Desired Skills

• Knowledge of the financial domain, treasury, payments, or financial markets
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
• Ability to positively influence without hierarchical authority
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Senior Scrum Master - Mandate Duration

The mandate is scheduled until March 31, 2027.
