We are looking for a Building Mechanical Engineer recognized for their ability to influence technical orientations, lead teams, and build strong relationships with our clients. Your Daily Impact
- Perform technical supervision, coordination, verification, and design of various building mechanical projects
- Collaborate in teams to complete mechanical design projects for different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential)
- Establish contact with the client to understand their needs
- Conduct surveys of existing installations
- Analyze, design, and adapt building-related installations
- Prepare feasibility studies and various types of reports for the client
- Evaluate construction cost budgets, participate in scheduling
- Prepare bids and technical reports
- Provide interdisciplinary coordination with external professionals
- Assist in construction supervision
- Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (being a member of "Professional Engineers Ontario" is considered an asset)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in designing and managing building mechanical projects
- Proficiency in French and English (oral and written) and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as AUTOCAD, REVIT, and Suite Office 365.
- Excellent ability to perform technical analyses, propose innovative solutions, and solve complex problems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines and fee budgets.
- Collaborative spirit and positive leadership to influence technical decisions and client relationships.
- Strong team spirit, mentoring and support skills for colleagues.
- Proficiency in English is essential due to participation in out-of-province commercial projects and national projects where all meetings and documentation are exclusively in English.
