The Department of Psychology at McGill University is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY. The position will be filled at the Assistant Professor level, although exceptional candidates of higher rank may be considered, with a start date of August 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to conduct significant research that benefits from external funding. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to excel in teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We are particularly looking for candidates whose work complements our current expertise in identity and social relations, as well as those who use interdisciplinary and/or innovative technologies. Applications from all areas of social psychology research will be considered.

The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. by August 1, 2027.
