Brewery Assistant

Location: Shawbridge Microbrewery – Prévost, Laurentides

Status: Full-time/part-time, available Monday to Friday during the day

At Shawbridge, we combine tradition and innovation to brew more than twenty artisanal beers, blends, and non-alcoholic beverages in the Laurentides region. If you dream of working in a warm, artisanal, and a bit funky environment, that's where it happens!

What you will do (and what you will love)

• Assist the brewer in all stages of production: from brewing to bottling
• Clean and sanitize brewing equipment
• Transfer, package, and label beers
• Participate in quality control and continuous improvement of recipes
• Help with inventory, if needed
• Warehouse management, product rotation, and workspace maintenance

What we are looking for

• Basic knowledge of the brewing process (an asset, otherwise training is offered)
• Ability to operate production equipment (pumps, tanks, hoses, etc.)
• Sense of cleanliness and respect for hygiene standards
• Ability to follow procedures and production recipes

Required Skills

• Endurance to work standing for long periods
• Physical endurance (must be able to lift up to 60 pounds several times a day)
• Ability to work in hot, humid, or noisy environments
• Positive and respectful attitude
• A desire to learn, ask questions, and get hands-on
• A reliable, curious, punctual, and autonomous person
• A strong interest (or passion!) for artisanal beer
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
