Job Overview

We are looking for a manager for one of our intermediate residences to oversee daily operations and ensure the safety, well-being, and personal development of our clients. This role involves team management, operational supervision, direct client support, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff, ensuring training, scheduling, and performance evaluations are completed.
• Oversee individualized care plans, client well-being, and medical appointments.
• Manage residence operations, budgets, and quality assurance checks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with clinical teams, staff, and families regarding client care.
• Plan and coordinate client activities and outings.
• Respond professionally and efficiently to emergencies and incidents.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in social work, healthcare, psychology, or a related field (an asset).
• Required certifications (provided by the company upon hiring): NCI training, CPR/First Aid, and Bill 90 certification.
• Proven experience in management or supervision in home support, intermediate residences, or healthcare settings (an asset).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong empathy, patience, and resilience in complex situations.

Compensation & Incentives

• Hourly wage: $26–$31/hour, based on experience and education.
• Comprehensive group insurance plan.

• Biannual performance evaluations with bonuses linked to key performance indicators (KPIs).

Working Conditions

• Position based in an intermediate residence.
• Physical activities include assisting clients with mobility, household tasks, and participating in outings.
