CIMA+ is looking for a Building Automation Systems Engineer to participate in the design of plans and models, conduct surveys, and assist the engineering team in the realization of commercial, industrial, institutional, and hospital projects. You will rely on your expertise and knowledge to perform high-quality technical analyses, write reports, and formulate recommendations.

Main Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and estimates for building automation systems.
• Determine construction costs and quantities, in accordance with standardized methods and established plans and estimates.
• Conduct surveys and studies and write technical reports.
• Participate in the resolution of technical problems.
• Write reports on the status of work and contribute to the preparation of the action plan.
• Participate in the partial supervision of construction work.
• Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of activities for the commissioning of electromechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ), as an engineer
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in building automation
• Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• ASP Construction Card
• LEED certification or knowledge of sustainable development and energy efficiency principles (an asset)
