Job Title: Class 1 Truck Driver – Local Store Deliveries

Location (Dispatch Point): Terrebonne, QC

Delivery Zone: Local

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Day Shift (Monday to Saturday – 5 days per week) / Evening Shift (Monday to Friday)

Start

Time: Day

Shift: between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM /

Evening

Shift: between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM (8 to 10 hours per day)

Hourly Rate: Up to $28.50 / hour

We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-service-driven drivers to join our growing transportation team. This position is ideal for professionals who take pride in their work, consistently deliver high-quality service, and can operate safely and professionally in a fast-paced environment while representing the company.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle for local store deliveries.
  • Perform precise backing maneuvers in tight spaces.
  • Ensure on-time deliveries while delivering quality customer service.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver products to various retail locations within the Greater Montreal area and surrounding regions.
  • Perform dock-to-dock deliveries or unload pallets using an electric pallet jack at grocery stores and retail locations (reefer or dry van trailers).
  • Evening Shift: Waiting time required during pickup.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license + minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Comfortable driving in urban and highway environments, performing tight parking maneuvers, and backing up to narrow loading docks.
  • Ability to regularly lift loads up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
  • Excellent customer service skills – friendly, professional, and courteous.
  • Clean driving record and clean background check.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends if required.
  • Adherence to company safety rules and Hours of Service regulations.
