Maintenance and Customer Service Assistant - Full-time Permanent Position

Illuminate Bromont City with Your Ideas. Our team is looking for a person for the Recreation, Sports, Culture, and Community Life Service. In collaboration with your division head, you will provide customer service and perform cleaning, physical, and preventive maintenance of the SLSCVC's facilities and equipment according to established policies and procedures. You will also ensure the supervision of the premises and ensure that regulations are followed.

Customer Service

• Guide customers and answer their questions
• Issue membership and access cards for various activities
• Register people for different activities and collect associated fees according to established procedures using the Service's registration software
• Ensure the accessibility of the facilities according to the established schedule and welcome customers based on the activities
• Open and close the SLSCVC facilities according to the established schedule
• Participate in the compilation of user attendance statistics

Facility Maintenance

• Ensure the maintenance of equipment and the cleanliness of the SLSCVC facilities
• Clear snow from building entrances and emergency exits of the SLSCVC and apply salt if necessary
• Supervise all areas
• Perform general maintenance work on the buildings and facilities of the SLSCVC
• Collect various waste in the SLSCVC facilities
• Assemble and disassemble rooms, stages, furniture, equipment, and infrastructure when required
• Manually load and unload trucks such as forklifts, unpack various goods, and assist with receiving, storing, delivering, moving, and installing

Your skill palette

• High school diploma
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience, availability on evenings and weekends
• Availability on evenings and weekends (winter season)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Knowledge of recreational equipment maintenance, cleaning, and maintenance equipment management
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and technological tools
• Valid 12 to 15-hour First Aid at Work certification (asset)
