Financial Analyst (Permanent Position) (Re-advertisement)

The financial analyst contributes to the sound management of the organization's financial resources by performing various accounting and financial activities with rigor, commitment, and professionalism. Driven by the desire to provide a quality service, he/she supports the finance division and external organizations in their accounting and financial operations. Through his/her collaboration, sense of responsibility, and concern for well-done work, he/she actively participates in achieving the organization's objectives, putting his/her heart into it every day.

  • Here's how you'll contribute to serving the community, including:
  • Analyze and track and update the annual revenue and debt budget data throughout the budget preparation process;
  • Enter data during budget preparation and provide support to services at the appropriate software level;
  • Analyze general ledger accounts, reconcile them with supporting documents, and if necessary, make the required entries and the annual verification for the production of the MAMH financial report;
  • Prepare financial projections and submit them to your immediate supervisor for approval;
  • Participate in the preparation of the periodic and annual financial statements and collaborate with external auditors;
  • Prepare the financial statements for the pension plans;
  • Prepare and complete the forms for obtaining government grants and tax substitutes;
  • Prepare the grant settlements for various programs for the financing of infrastructure;
  • Update the files related to loan settlements and various reserved funds;
  • Contribute to the preparation and development of bond issuance requests and then enter the debt into the software and complete all associated reports for long-term financing;
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual tax, additional tax, and all other required tax tasks;
  • Provide support for the preparation of the bank reconciliation of various funds and communicate with the financial institution and/or concerned services to resolve issues;
  • Participate in the preparation of the budget, various accounting tasks, and the financial statements of two organizations.

Desired Profile

  • Hold a university degree in administration (accounting profile) or in another field of study related to the position, combined with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or budget preparation;
  • Have a good knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis;
  • Excellent mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel);
  • Be able to exercise judgment.

In addition to the minimum requirements mentioned above, the person must also demonstrate excellent analytical skills, show rigor and a marked concern for detail, possess a developed sense of organization and planning to manage multiple files simultaneously, show autonomy and initiative, and have a good ability to interpret and synthesize financial data.
