Accounting Technician

To support the growth of Volailles des Cantons, we are currently looking for an Accounting Technician. The position will be based in Roxton Pond or Terrebonne, at the candidate's choice. The selected candidate must be organized, meticulous, rigorous, and have a facility for working in a team.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform accounting entries and bank reconciliations
• Manage vendor and customer accounts
• Ensure tracking of payments and receipts
• Participate in monthly and annual closings
• Prepare financial reports and analyses
• Produce government remittances (GST/HST, DAS, etc.)
• Verify and account for invoices
• Process payroll
• Collaborate closely with other departments

Requirements

• DEC in accounting or equivalent training
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in an accounting software (Acomba)
• Good knowledge of Excel
