The Aftermarket Operations Program Manager – Engine Clearance & Service Level Management is responsible for end-to-end ownership of engine return-to-service (RTS) performance, service level agreement (SLA) compliance, and customer operational commitments. This role ensures cross-functional coordination between Operations, Spare Parts, Quality, Finance, and Customer Support to deliver engines on time, meet contractual obligations, and drive overall MRO performance globally.

The incumbent aligns service levels across the aftermarket while establishing and executing technical improvement and commercial support initiatives. This position requires excellent collaboration, strong leadership, and the ability to mobilize multi-functional teams. It also includes driving continuous improvement initiatives and global leadership to optimize the aftermarket value chain performance.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Longueuil, and is exclusively in-person.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

Engine Clearance Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the engine clearance process, from induction to customer delivery.
  • Lead daily clearance reviews and eliminate material, technical, or quality-related bottlenecks.
  • Prioritize engines based on SLA commitments, AOG situations, and revenue exposure.
  • Reduce engine dwell time and backlog.

Material Resolution and Supply Chain

  • Support material recovery plans for engines held due to shortages.
  • Assist in accelerating critical parts and LLP.
  • Contribute to reducing clearance delays caused by supplier or logistics constraints.
  • Improve forecast alignment through SIOP process integration.

Technical and Engineering Coordination

  • Escalate technical disposition requests and repair scheme approvals.
  • Ensure configuration compliance and service bulletin integration.
  • Facilitate the resolution of deviation approvals impacting clearance timelines.

Service Level and SLA Performance Management

  • Ensure contractual compliance (TAT, OTD, AOG response time, parts availability rate).
  • Develop engine and customer-level performance dashboards.
  • Lead performance reviews and turnaround plans for underperformance.
  • Quantify financial exposure related to performance gaps or contractual credits.
  • Reduce work-in-progress (WIP) inventory in engines.

Customer and Commercial Interface

  • Serve as the primary operational contact for customer escalations.
  • Lead or support quarterly business reviews (QBR).
  • Provide proactive visibility on engine status.
  • Align operational priorities with commercial strategy.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 to 10 years of experience
  • Relevant fields of study: Business/Commerce, Aeronautics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies and drive initiatives
  • Strategic influence and change management within the organization
  • Excellent executive communication and influential leadership skills
  • Ability to establish policies, set objectives, and manage large-scale complex projects
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex program-related issues
  • Ability to clearly communicate objectives and results
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good technical knowledge of products (engines)
  • Occasional travel required

This position is within a French-speaking work environment and requires excellent English proficiency to read and understand daily technical documentation from international organizations, as well as write and communicate in English with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues.
