We are looking for your profile in the following service area(s) (RLS). You must be available for all cities in the chosen RLS: HAUTE-YAMASKA (Granby)

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Therapeutic Equipment and Material Technician who participates in work related to the manufacture or adaptation of therapeutic equipment and functional accessories used for therapeutic activities. They ensure the maintenance and keep the inventory up to date. The selected person may be called upon to travel to the various Santé Québec health parks in Estrie – CHUS, particularly in the Granby and Pommeraie RLS.

Their main responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with clinical professionals to manage the inventory and availability of therapeutic equipment for home clients;
  • Manage inventories;
  • Purchase equipment;
  • Plan deliveries;
  • Clean equipment;
  • Perform basic repairs.

The person must be able to travel to work in our CIUSSE-CHUS parks in the Pommeraie RLS and possibly to another establishment. Consequently, mileage will be paid accordingly for travel. The candidate must have a personal vehicle for work-related travel.

Minimum Availability

  • Available every day of the week;
  • Available during the day and evening (note that the need is primarily during the day);
  • Available one weekend out of two (currently none on schedule, subject to change)
  • Available to travel to other RLS.

Requirements

  • Hold a high school diploma (DES) or equivalent (TENS) OR
  • Hold any other terminal diploma recognized by the competent ministry (DEP, ASP, AEP, AEC, DEC, BAC, etc.)
  • Hold a Class 5 driver's license
  • Possess manual and computer skills
  • Have experience with customer service
