Mass Production Materials Manager

The person occupying the Mass Production Materials Manager position will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of materials to original design manufacturers. This will enable the delivery of compute, storage, and AI racks to data centers and warehouses. You will be responsible for managing material flows, optimizing supply chain processes, and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Main Responsibilities: 1. Materials Procurement and Logistics:

• Coordinate with original design manufacturers, client stakeholders, and suppliers to manage procurement, logistics, and readiness of the detailed materials list for all programs (including L6/L10/L11 materials).
• Place orders with original design manufacturers according to instructions.
• 2. Materials Planning and Execution of Material Requirements
• Collaborate with original design manufacturers and teams responsible for demand and supply planning to ensure accuracy of sub-component supply data.
• Ensure timely delivery of components and raw materials according to customer forecasts and supply requirements and risk management to achieve CTB (Clear To Build) status.
• Ensure coverage of material requirements and adherence to forecasts and purchase orders.
• 3. Risk Management and Mitigation
• Proactively identify material-related risks (shortages, supply chain disruptions, etc.), report them, and contribute to their mitigation.
• Collaborate with customer-managed raw material suppliers and support on-site supplier activities to ensure timely deliveries.
• 4. Vendor and Partnership Management
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders, original design manufacturer partners, and suppliers to foster effective and harmonious communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and prepare dashboards on manufacturing schedules and supplier capacities.
• 5. Data Analysis and Reporting
• Analyze and interpret supply and demand reports, as well as material requirements reports, to provide support for decision-making regarding material planning and procurement.
• Contribute to the development and tracking of key performance indicators related to material planning, order placement, coverage, and supply chain optimization.
• Collaborate with procurement managers to ensure optimal stock levels with original design manufacturers and third-party logistics suppliers.
• 6. Material Distribution Assistance
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to support material distribution decisions aimed at maximizing customer supply of racks.
• University degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain management, preferably in the technology sector.
• Ability to analyze complex data and extract major conclusions to illuminate strategic decisions and optimize business results.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the business and establish priorities in workload to achieve dynamic business objectives.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in managing professional relationships within multidisciplinary teams and with partners across different time zones.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, and computer configuration.
• Ease in quickly assimilating computer configuration terminology and specifics.
• Experience in collaborating with internal and external partners in a demanding, entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary environment requiring significant autonomy of judgment, as well as strong ability to coordinate personnel and technical resources.

English is required for this position as this role will be aligned with multinational teams where English is the common language across our global enterprise. Due to the significant volume of interactions with these multinational English-speaking teams, which is intrinsic to this position, a restructuring of the company's activities is not possible to avoid this requirement.
