Function:
Responsible for executing makeup work in collaboration with various participants to meet production needs.
- Prepares, applies, and removes various types of makeup, considering the era, style, type of production, and desired objectives to meet production needs;
- Adapts makeup according to circumstances (such as role requirements, the person's natural features, costumes or planned attire, and ambient lighting) to meet production needs;
- Harmonizes makeup with costumes to meet production needs;
- Modifies and retouches makeup during rehearsals, show recordings, and other presentations;
- Applies prosthetics, wigs, beards, mustaches, and sideburns, as well as appropriate makeup, to meet production needs;
- Performs hair retouching, if needed, during rehearsals, show recordings, and other presentations;
- Maintains an inventory of makeup products and accessories and ensures, according to established procedures, their replenishment to avoid running out of materials during assignments;
- Ensures continuity using photographs or other media;
- Conducts research on makeup products; evaluates new products and reports;
- Establishes and submits, if necessary, cost estimates for makeup products;
- Assists, upon request, in planning or production meetings;
- Purchases, upon delegation, the necessary products for makeup;
- Reports any damage or defects in products, accessories, or equipment to the concerned parties;
- Completes appropriate forms and documents; verbally or in writing, communicates the required information to ensure necessary follow-ups and inform concerned parties;
- Familiarizes other employees with their tasks and work environment;
- Performs, if necessary, all or part of the tasks belonging to any other job class within an equivalent or lower salary group, as well as other related tasks.
This is an extra position and requires full-time on-site presence.
Job Requirements
- Education: Professional studies diploma in makeup or relevant diploma;
- Experience: Three (3) years are required to perform the tasks satisfactorily.
The skills and knowledge of the candidates may be subject to testing.
