In this key role, you will ensure integrated tracking of deliverables, oversee the management of project parameters, and promote transparent and effective communication within the implementation team. You will act as a convergence point for strategic information, ensuring that the necessary data is transmitted to the concerned parties so that the required adjustments can be implemented in accordance with the levels of delegation and governance in place.

YOUR PLAYING FIELD

Supervise and coordinate the project office team (PCO/cost managers, schedules, risks, and quality, project administration technician) to:

  • ensure and supervise the application of governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices in project management;
  • ensure planning, tracking, and control of project parameters, including cost control, schedule tracking, risk management, scope, and quality;
  • ensure integrated tracking of deliverables;
  • ensure tracking of progressive billing and payments;
  • analyze data and produce recommendations to support strategic decision-making;
  • oversee administrative support related to budget and cost tracking, purchase order preparation, invoice processing, and other administrative project tracking tasks;
  • support the team in the reporting processes;
  • coordinate internal and external stakeholders in achieving project objectives;
  • promote the continuous improvement of project tracking and control processes and contribute to the development of the team's skills;
  • perform, as needed, any other related tasks.
  • YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS, PARTICULAR CONDITIONS, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline (administration, engineering, project management, etc.);
  • more than seven (7) years of relevant experience in large-scale project management, including significant experience in tracking and control (costs, schedules, risks, quality);
  • experience in a construction context and/or team management, an asset;
  • mobilizing leadership;
  • analytical mindset and rigor;

Class 13 / $47.37 to $76.62 per hour ($86,213 to $139,448) based on relevant experience (15 steps) 15% premium for large-scale work (special assignments)

Work Schedule: Flexible hours and possibility of telecommuting.

Annual Vacation: 4 weeks per year. For the first year, vacation accumulates at a rate of 1 2/3 paid vacation days per full month of continuous service. Possibility to finance 1 to 2 additional weeks of vacation.

Holidays: 13 paid holidays and statutory holidays, of which 6 are used during the holiday season.

Personal Leave: As of May 1st each year, a bank of thirty-five (35) hours as personal leave.

Collective Insurance Regime:

Includes life insurance, salary insurance, health care, and dental care, all in accordance with the current contract. Coverage can be individual or family. Also includes the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Retirement Regime: Upon entry, the Executive Staff Retirement Plan (ESRP).
