Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Content Writer/Creator is the primary producer of content for the various channels that the Association uses to communicate with its members.
Your Responsibilities
The person in this position will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the various social media accounts of the ARQ. They will also assist the Director of Communications in the development of communication projects.
More specifically, the tasks will include:
- Planning and creating content, as well as managing interactions on the various social media platforms, with the goal of ensuring the organization's dynamic presence;
- Contributing to the creation of multimedia content (video, podcast, etc.) and editing it;
- Preparing and writing articles and reports for the ARQ magazine and its website;
- Collaborating on the editing, writing, production, and distribution of the organization's internal and external communication tools;
- Maintaining an active watch on the content published on social media by members, non-members, and other industry stakeholders;
- Developing and regularly updating the organization's website.
Our Requirements
- Journalism or communication certificate
- 1 year of experience in similar tasks
- Excellent knowledge of social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Proficiency in the Office suite
- Excellent French (oral and written)
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Asset: Proficiency in ClickUp, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative Cloud
- Asset: Experience in translation
- Asset: Experience in the restaurant industry
