Join WSP's Applied Solutions Group as a Project Coordinator and play a key role in delivering complex projects across Eastern Canada. Whether it's environmental remediation, water treatment, mine closure, civil infrastructure, or other multidisciplinary projects, you will collaborate with talented professionals to safely execute significant projects that have a positive impact on communities, the environment, and the industry.
Based in Montreal (Quebec), this position offers the opportunity to work on-site or in the office, depending on project needs. Travel and rotating shifts will be required for some assignments.
Your Impact
Develop work statements, work breakdown structures (WBS), project schedules, and project budgets for review by senior managers.
Participate in the preparation of site-specific health and safety plans as well as work execution plans.
Obtain bids from suppliers and subcontractors for various equipment, materials, and services.
Coordinate on-site work between subcontractors, material suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Perform quantity surveys, estimates and forecasts, equipment utilization tracking, and data recording.
Monitor, document, and report construction and field activities while maintaining accurate project files and site documentation.
Collaborate closely with project managers, technical specialists, consultants, clients, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
Communicate project progress, field observations, risks, and emerging trends to project management teams.
Contribute to the success of projects promoting environmental management, sustainable development, and long-term value creation for communities.
Issue Requests for Information (RFI), change orders, subcontract agreements, work orders, purchase orders, daily reports, technical notes, and other documents for review by senior managers.
Proactively address challenges encountered on-site while maintaining productivity, quality, and schedule adherence.
Work will be shared between the field and the office.
Qualifications That Set You Apart
Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, mining engineering, mining technology, environmental studies, environmental technology, or a related technical discipline.
3 to 5 years of progressive experience in construction, environmental remediation, mining, infrastructure, or industrial projects performed on-site.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams in active construction environments.
Strong knowledge of project coordination, construction methods, environmental remediation practices, site restoration, and/or civil and infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Experience in remote or northern environments is a significant asset.
Excellent organizational, teamwork, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing field conditions.
Initiative, desire to learn, and develop new experiences.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, paired with a willingness to travel and work rotating shifts when required.
Bilingualism is required as the individual will be involved in projects for English-speaking clients and partners, often based outside of Quebec.

Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK and YT: $80,800 to $107,000 MB and ON: $73,700 to $101,500 NB, NL, NS, PE and QC: $73,000 to $96,900
