What will you contribute to the team?

  • Develop, deploy, and improve an industrial strategy.
  • Understand, analyze, and integrate the capacity needs of manufacturing cells and assembly lines at aerostructure sites for medium and long-term.
  • Enable the ramp-up of Bombardier programs by ensuring optimal use of workforce and production equipment, evaluate and propose key performance indicators to measure the productivity of manufacturing and assembly processes, as well as performance.
  • In the context of a new program or production relocations, develop the production activity sequence for assembly positions.
  • Facilitate work sessions with multidisciplinary teams to build, optimize, and implement the best solutions for production cells and assembly lines.
  • Prepare and present roadmaps, dashboards, and progress statuses during governance with the plant management committee.
  • Plan and deliver competitive offers with executable assumptions, including the direction of activities to meet external and internal deadlines, integrate contributions from engineering, methods, operations, procurement, finance, and other core team members, manage change, risks, and constraints of offer execution.
  • Analyze and question the inputs received from functions to validate their accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness.
  • Understand and manage requirements related to complex industrial, contractual, legal, or financial solutions.
  • Support the preparation of financial data for offers from various functions and supply divisions, support financial activities and final synthesis.
  • Prepare final proposals for clients.
  • Develop benchmarking tools to quickly evaluate the costs of offers and to validate and/or challenge these costs.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses at the request of the leadership.

How will you thrive in this role?

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or another scientific discipline or any other relevant experience.
  • You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management or related field.
  • You have a background in Finance (asset).
  • You have experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • You are familiar with industrial engineering, operations management, and implementation of new manufacturing lines approaches.
  • You possess interest, skills, and experience in project management and team leadership.
  • You have implemented concepts of line balancing and value stream mapping (VSM), material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
  • You have knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aerospace industry (asset).
  • You have strong communication skills at all hierarchical levels and interpersonal relationships (French and English).
  • You are aware of the latest trends in the aerospace industry and continuous improvement.
  • You demonstrate the ability to manage priorities and overcome challenges.
  • You enjoy having a high level of responsibility.
  • You are recognized as having a high level of initiative, autonomy, innovation, and practical sense.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams tools including MS Project.
