RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an experienced heavy machinery mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnosis of our equipment to ensure their optimal operation and safety on our sites.

Among other things, you will be expected to:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment;
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures related to equipment;
• Document all interventions in our systems;
• Comply with applicable safety regulations;
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the continuity of operations;
• Perform inspections before each use;
• Perform any other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in mechanics or equivalent training;
• Experience in heavy machinery mechanics;
• Knowledge of cranes (an asset);
• Knowledge of hydraulics (an asset);
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and specific equipment;
• Hold a valid CCQ card;
• Valid Class 5 driver's license;
• Be available day and night as needed.
