Mission

Ortec Environnement Services is looking for a Dispatcher based in Port-Cartier, for a temporary contract of 6 months.

The word routine is not part of your vocabulary? This position offers you a stimulating and varied daily life, between planning teams, following up on operations, and constant interactions with the field.

Discover your daily routine

• Plan and assign teams according to operations
• Ensure the follow-up of sites (deadlines, resources, equipment)
• Prepare work orders and support administrative operations
• Manage material availability and coordinate needs
• Be the key contact between field teams, customers, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with procedures and health and safety rules

Profile

• Let's talk about you!

You have a degree in administration, logistics, or any other relevant experience.

You have at least 3 years of experience in dispatching, coordination, or planning (ideally in a unionized industrial environment).

You are known for your organization, rigor, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

You are reactive, autonomous, and comfortable in an operational environment in constant evolution.

You have excellent customer service and communication skills with different stakeholders.

You are proficient in common computer tools (Office suite).

You are available to work on-call periods as needed.

You are legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
