The incumbent of this position supports warehouse operations by primarily ensuring the processes of receiving and shipping goods. They use inventory control techniques to ensure the proper location of products and ensure the correct application of established procedures. Their role is crucial for maintaining the smoothness and efficiency of warehouse operations while adhering to established quality, safety, and productivity standards.

You are an organized, meticulous, and rigorous professional capable of effectively managing a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment. You possess an excellent sense of priorities and a great sense of urgency, allowing you to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work. You are reliable, precise, and capable of managing inventory, returns, and shipments with particular attention to detail. You are proficient with computer tools and comfortable with the systems used in a distribution center. Finally, you are able to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with different teams.
Responsibilities
- Receive and sort frames based on their model, color, and size, verifying associated documents.
- Seal and label frames, then transfer them to the appropriate warehouse locations.
- Perform order picking for order preparation, using a scanner for inventory management.
- Manage credit and stock returns, following verification and processing procedures for returned frames.
- Process warranty lens returns, scanning and separating them for shipment to suppliers.
- Perform transfers between stores and prepare orders for lenses or accessories to be shipped.
- Manage orders for clips, contact lenses, and other specific products, ensuring their receipt and shipment.
- Track frame breaks in the lab, perform necessary transfers, and ensure the availability of replacement frames.
- Prepare and ship PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) orders for the different banners.
- Manage online orders, from picking to shipping, and ensure the management of product returns.
- Follow health and safety measures in place.
- Perform necessary activities in accordance with policies, work procedures, training, standards, and norms.
- Assist your supervisor and colleagues in completing their activities when required.
- Perform any other related tasks and in other departments as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- You have an excellent sense of priorities, allowing you to effectively manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- You demonstrate a great sense of urgency while maintaining a high level of precision and quality in your work.
- You are a reliable person who can be counted on to meet deadlines and procedures.
- You have strong computer skills, allowing you to easily navigate the systems used in the distribution center.
- You are meticulous and precise in the execution of your tasks, ensuring that every detail is taken into account.
- You are organized and capable of effectively managing your workspace and tasks to be completed.
- You are rigorous in adhering to established standards and procedures.
- You are capable of working effectively in a matrix environment, collaborating with various teams and departments.
- You hold a high school diploma.
- You have a minimum of two years of experience as a warehouse associate in a distribution center.
- You are fluent in French, both orally and in writing, and have a functional level in English.
- You possess a forklift license, an asset for the position.
