We are currently looking for a Specialized Laborer – Sewer / Water Main to join our team. Under the supervision of the foreman, the incumbent participates in the execution of installation, repair, and replacement work on sewer and water main networks on various job sites. He/she actively contributes to the smooth running of the work while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.### Profile

Role & Responsibilities

• Participate in the installation and replacement of sewer, water main, and drainage pipes;
• Assist heavy equipment operators during excavation work;
• Set up pipes, fittings, manholes, catch basins, and accessories;
• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment required for the work;
• Perform backfilling, compaction, and finishing work according to plans and estimates;
• Install and remove shoring and trench protection systems when required;
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the job site at all times;
• Comply with health and safety procedures as well as the foreman's directives;
• Report any anomalies, dangerous situations, or equipment damage to your supervisor;
• Participate in job site meetings and SSE training;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Experience & Qualifications Required

• Experience in sewer, water main, or civil engineering work (an asset);
• Valid Specialized Laborer CCQ card;
• Valid ASP Construction card;
• Good ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions;
• Team spirit, autonomy, and resourcefulness;
• Sense of responsibility and rigor in the execution of work;
• Constant concern for health and safety at work.
