The General Construction and Health & Safety Superintendent is the senior field operations leader responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects while ensuring the highest standards of health and safety performance across the organization.

The position provides leadership, mentoring, direction and technical support to Site Superintendents and Site Health & Safety Coordinators to ensure all projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards.

This role serves as the primary liaison between Operations Management and all field supervision personnel, promoting a culture where health and safety are integrated into every aspect of project planning and execution.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years supervising multiple superintendents
• Minimum 10 years in commercial, institutional, or multistorey residential construction.
• Experience with new construction, excavation, foundations, underpinning, shoring.
• Minumum of 5 years leading health and safety programs.

Skills

• Leadership competencies.
• Strong technical understanding of construction, specifically on concrete multistorey buildings.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Experience with new construction, excavation, foundations, underpinning, shoring.
• Comfortable with computers, good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills
