Data and AI Developer

We are looking for a Data AI Developer to contribute to large-scale projects. Roles and Responsibilities

Tasks

Define, document, and implement best practices in AI and software development (standards, templates)

Support the design and development of end-to-end AI or analytical solutions (design, development, testing, deployment)

Establish or improve engineering practices (code management, CI/CD, automation, documentation)

Lead the industrialization of AI solutions (transition from prototype to production)

Identify optimization opportunities and propose concrete improvements to practices and processes

Advise on technological orientations, architectures, and tool choices related to AI

Contribute to the implementation of responsible AI practices (security, compliance, governance, risk management)

Document deliverables, decisions, and lessons learned to promote reuse and autonomy.

Qualities Required to Succeed in This Role

Profile

Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development and/or AI or analytical solutions in an enterprise environment

Experience with generative AI and/or language models

• Understanding of security, privacy, and governance issues related to AI solutions

Knowledge of AI best practices frameworks (e.g., risk management, responsible AI, application security)

Hands-on experience in delivering end-to-end AI solutions (analysis, design, development, production deployment)

Strong knowledge of the Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory platforms, including their features, and Azure DevOps for source code management and branching

Strong knowledge of SQL and Python programming languages

Good knowledge of ETL concepts, the medallion architecture, and processes related to data ingestion and exposure in a cloud-based analytical solutions context

Good knowledge of MLOps tools, the lifecycle of AI solutions, and related concepts

Knowledge of the Agile process within a DevOps work cell and JIRA and Confluence software

Ability to suggest improvement tracks for existing solutions to evolve them

Exercise strong technical leadership in your area of expertise to drive your team towards the design of cutting-edge analytical solutions.

Required Technologies and Tools: Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, SQL, Python, Power BI, Jira, Confluence.

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particulars of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $60,000 and $130,000. This position is open.
